Erosion & Sediment Control Plans

From $550 inc site inspection

Erosion and sediment control plans are a requirement for most small development sites such as houses and small subdivisions. They detail how soil erosion will be controlled and how sediment will be prevented from leaving the site and entering roads and waterways.

We can develop a plan specific for your site that is easy to understand and simple to implement and maintain.

Soil & Water Management Plans

From $2,750 inc site inspection.

Soil and water management plans are required on development sites that will disturb more than 2,500 square metres of earth, or where there are constraints such as steep slopes, adjacent residences or nearby waterways. They are designed with the development stages in mind and have all the information you need to implement and maintain your site appropriately.

Statement of Environmental Effects

From $550 inc. site inspection.

A Statement of Environmental Effects, or SEE, needs to be included with every new development application in NSW. It is an assessment of the site conditions, the relevant legislation, the local environment and determines whether the development is able to proceed in that location.

We can provide a basic SEE for your house site from $330 or from $1,100 for your subdivision, rural development or commerical development.

Flora and Fauna Reports

From $3,850 inc site inspection.

Flora and Fauna Reports are often required by Councils when a development results in the clearing of native vegetation for buildings, roads, sheds, powerlines, fences and bushfire protection zones.

We will assess the vegetation, habitat, native wildlife and threatened species that may exist on your property. We will then assess the impact of your development and provide a report that can be submitted in support of your DA.

Review of Environmental Factors

From $1,100 inc site inspection.

A Review of Environmental Factors is the minimum assessment required for Part 5 EP&A Act or council developments. We will conduct a review of the local environment, flora and fauna, vegetation communities and site constraints, assess the impact and provide advice around safeguards that need to be employed to minimise the impact of your local development.

Management Plans

From $1,100 inc site inspection.

We can develop a management plan to help you comply with DA conditions of consent or to deal with an environmental matter, including:

Grant Writing and Peer Reviews

We can write grant applications for environmental projects and develop monitoring and evaluation plans.

Potentially contaminated land can be found in a wide variety of locations and is often dependent upon the land use history. Contaminated land is dealt with under different pieces of legislation. Many councils now have development restrictions on such land. How it impacts you through ownership, sale or development depends upon what you want to do on that site. Joel Little is a Certified Environmental Practitioner, a Qualified Stormwater Manager and a member of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand.

These certifications and memberships require a certain level of experience, knowledge and demonstrated compliance with a code of ethics.

Joel Little is a Certified Environmental Practitioner and is the
Director and Principal Consultant of Conmurra Environmental Management Solutions.

Joel worked in local government as an environmental assessment and compliance officer for 15 years and has experience in a range of development site, contaminated land and wildlife management issues. Joel also has extensive wildlife and community education experience through working with conservation and not-for-profit projects.

Joel is also the co-owner and operator of Conmurra Wildlife Sanctuary & Airbnb.
